What is a modular artist booth kit?

A modular artist booth kit is a set of interlocking frosted panels and connectors that snap together by hand, with no tools, to build display walls, shelves, and cubes for artist alley tables, convention booths, and markets. You arrange the panels to suit your space, then take it apart and rebuild it differently at your next event. Our kits are designed around a standard 180 cm / 6 ft table and can expand to cover a corner or a full booth.

How are your panels better than wire grid cubes?

Wire grid cubes work, but your art competes with the busy metal mesh and clutter showing through. Our frosted panels give you a clean, light-diffusing backdrop so your prints and merch stand out. They are far lighter than steel grids, pack completely flat for travel, and snap into different layouts in under 30 minutes with no tools.

What size tables do your kits fit?

Square Core Kit and Shapeshift Base Kit fit half tables and counters (around 90 cm / 3 ft). Shapeshift Kit fits a full 180 cm / 6 ft table with tall framing. Shapeshift Max Kit fits double and corner setups (360 cm / 12 ft), free-standing booths, and full convention exhibitor spaces. Every panel and connector is cross-compatible.

How long does setup take?

Most artists have their kit fully set up in under 30 minutes, with no tools and no zip ties. You simply snap the connectors into the panels and stack.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. We ship worldwide using FedEx Express, and shipping is free on orders over $300 AUD. For 33 countries including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the EU, we ship Delivered Duty Paid so the price you see covers customs duties and import taxes.

Can I mix two colours in one kit?

Yes. The Shapeshift Duo and Duo Max kits are built to be two-tone. You can also mix in extra colours with accessory panel packs.

How much weight can these setups hold?

Each shelf panel holds up to 5 kg / 11 lb when built correctly, which covers prints, books, apparel, bags, figures and most 3D merch.

Multi-Day Convention Setups: What Survives Four Days Straight

A one-day market is a sprint. A four-day convention is something else entirely. Your display needs to survive setup, teardown fakeouts, overnight storage, and four days of being bumped, leaned on, and baked under convention hall lighting.

Not every display makes it. Here is what ACTUALLY survives.

Materials That Hold Up

Wire racks sag by day three. Cardboard warps from humidity. Acrylic stands get knocked off tables and crack on concrete floors. The displays that survive multi-day shows are made from materials that can take abuse. ABS connectors and frosted PP panels like our modular display kit uses are built for exactly this. Tough enough for four days, light enough to carry.

Overnight Storage Strategy

Most multi-day cons let you leave your setup overnight. "Let you" is generous. They lock the hall and hope nobody touches anything. Smart vendors remove their small valuables (cash box, expensive originals, electronics) and leave the display structure standing. Our panels lock together and stay rigid overnight without supervision.

The Daily Refresh Routine

Day one your booth looks perfect. Day two it starts drifting. Products shift, signage tilts, the tablecloth wrinkles. The vendors who look fresh on day four have a five-minute morning routine: straighten the cloth, realign products, check signage, wipe surfaces. That routine is the difference between "professional" and "has been here too long."

Frequently Asked Questions

Should I bring backup display parts?
Bring a few spare connectors and an extra tablecloth. If a panel gets damaged, you can swap it without rebuilding. The modular design means any single piece is replaceable.

What if the convention venue is humid?
Paper products warp, metal rusts, and fabric gets musty. Plastic and frosted panels from our full kit range handle humidity without flinching. Keep your prints in sealed sleeves until display time.

How do I stay energised for four days?
Pack proper meals. Bring comfortable shoes and a backup pair. Sit when traffic is slow. The display takes care of itself if you built it right. Your job is to take care of YOU.
