The Booth Rating Checklist You Can Use On Your Own Setup

    We talked about rating booths earlier. Now here is the tool you can turn on yourself. Print this out, stick it in your display bag, and run through it at every show before the doors open.

    Visibility: Can They See You?

    Stand ten feet in front of your table. Can you tell what you sell? If the answer is no, you need height. A modular display kit at 175cm solves this instantly. Can you see your brand name or a sign? If no, add one. This section is worth 3 points out of 10. Without visibility, nothing else matters.

    Cohesion: Does It Look Intentional?

    Do your colours work together? Does the tablecloth match or complement the display? Is there a consistent style from the signage to the packaging? Cohesion is the difference between "professional" and "garage sale." Worth 2 points.

    Pricing: Can They See What Things Cost?

    From three feet away, can a customer identify the price of at least your main products? If they have to pick things up and flip them over, you are losing sales to hesitation. One clear price sign visible from the aisle. Worth 2 points.

    Layout: Does The Eye Travel?

    Is there a hero product that grabs attention first? Does the layout guide the eye from the hero to the supporting products to the impulse buys? Or is everything at the same level competing for attention? A clear visual path through your booth is worth 2 points.

    Polish: Is It Clean And Complete?

    Personal items hidden? Tablecloth straight? Products aligned? No empty gaps that look unintentional? This is the difference between an eight and a ten. Worth 1 point, but it is the point that SEPARATES you from the pack.

    How do I score myself honestly?
    Ask a friend to score you, or take a photo and look at it on your phone. The camera does not lie. You cannot unsee problems once you spot them in a photo.

    What score should I aim for?
    Seven is good. Eight is great. Nine means you are doing something special. If you score below six, focus on height first, then pricing. Our full kit range handles the structural foundation.
