The Mistake Of Building For Instagram Instead Of The Aisle

    We need to talk about the Instagram trap. It is eating vendor sales alive and nobody calls it out because the photos look SO good.

    Here is the trap. You design your booth to photograph well. Flat lays, aesthetic colour blocking, everything arranged for the overhead shot. You post it, get likes, feel great. And then you sit behind that same table for eight hours while customers walk right past it.

    The aisle does not care about your Instagram grid. The aisle cares about one thing: can I see what you sell from ten feet away while walking at normal speed? A flat, photo-perfect display answers "no" to that question. A tall, clear, well-lit vertical display answers YES.

    The best vendors we know do both. They build their display for the aisle first. Height, visibility, clear pricing, easy browsing. Then, at the end of the day, they take their Instagram photo. The photo is a record of a great setup, not the goal of the setup.

    Our modular display kit looks great in photos AND from the aisle because it builds 175cm tall with clean lines and coordinated colours. But the reason it sells is the height and structure, not the aesthetics. The aesthetics are a bonus.

    Build for the customer walking past at 3pm, not the follower scrolling at 10pm. One of those people has cash in their hand right now. The other might buy from your online shop in six months. Maybe.
