Small Booth, Big Backdrop: Balancing Scale

We see this mistake constantly at conventions. Someone with a small table puts up a massive banner behind their booth. Floor to ceiling. Edge to edge. And it completely swallows their products.

The backdrop becomes the booth. The actual products become footnotes.

Here is the thing about scale in a small space: your backdrop should frame your work, not overpower it. Think of it like a picture frame. The frame is supposed to make you look at the picture, not the other way around.

A display that is five panels high (175cm) on a standard table hits the sweet spot. It is tall enough to be visible from the aisle and create a proper backdrop, but it does not tower over everything and make your table look like a tiny afterthought.
