The Booth Mistake That Makes Your Prints Look Cheap

Your prints are gorgeous. High quality paper, vibrant colours, sharp detail. And somehow on your table they look like they belong in a bargain bin.

The problem is almost never the print. It is ALWAYS the context around it.

Prints lying flat on a table look like they are waiting to be sorted, not sold. Prints fanned out overlapping each other look like a clearance pile. Prints in clear plastic sleeves with price stickers on the front look like they came from a dollar store.

The fix is embarrassingly simple. Stand them up. Put them in a display that holds them upright at eye level. Give each print enough space that a customer can see the whole image without touching it. Suddenly the same $15 print looks like a $40 print because the display is telling a different story.

A modular display kit with shelving holds prints upright at multiple heights. Frosted panels behind them create contrast without competing. And because you can adjust shelf positions, you can give your hero prints more space and group your smaller ones tighter.

The other killer? Lighting. Convention halls have fluorescent overheads that wash out colour. One small clip-on light aimed at your prints from above makes an enormous difference. Not a spotlight. Just enough warm light to make the colours pop the way they do on your screen at home.
